At the helm of Charter Transportation, behind the scenes and on the frontlines are a young team of industry leaders with direct experience within the household goods industry and the U.S. Department of Defense personal property program.

 

Brad Reineking

Bradly Reineking joined Charter Transportation as executive vice president, General Manager in June, 2010 after more than 20 years with Graebel Van Lines, a household goods moving and storage company headquartered in Denver.

In his newly created position, Brad directs daily management of Charter Transportations 24 employees nationwide; relationships with third-party relocation services, van lines and other carriers; and, instills higher levels of service quality to all customers within Charter Properties supply chain, including military families.
With a career in household goods moving and storage spanning more than two decades, Brad brings a breadth of experience from sales, operations and customer service to deliver exceptional results to our customers. To his credit in his previous position is company growth in interstate hauling revenue of $2.2 million over two years and a marked reduction in claims and driver safety.

Brad is a 1994 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point with a Bachelors of Science degree in biology and a minor in business administration.

 

Stephen Westerberg

Stephen Westerberg is owner of Charter Transportation (formerly Charter Properties, Inc.), started in March of 2006.  Steve is a fourth generation Westerberg and is contributing to the company legacy with more than 16 years in the industry.

He graduated from Hanover College in 1996 with a double major in business and communications. He received a Masters in Business from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in 2005.

In April of 2011, he became owner of American Van Lines, an independent military household goods carrier to help serve our largest client, the Department of Defense, within their Personal Property Program.
